Dear Friends,

With Thanksgiving now upon us, I just wanted to reach out to send warmest wishes to you and your whole family for this uniquely American Holiday, along with a message of personal thanks from me and Swingtime for your support.

This certainly has been a year like no other in our lifetime, and we’ve all had many disappointments about the disruption in our daily lives. While our band has greatly missed performing for you, and seeing you, and hearing your heartfelt applause, it makes us even more thankful for all of our friends and fans who have supported us for so many years. As the old saying goes, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder,” so we are thinking of you now more than ever, and wishing you and yours good health and happiness for this family Holiday.

The ‘good health’ part is obviously our primary focus these days, and we want to be sure that all of you are able to attend our shows when it is indeed safe for us to gather together to enjoy live music again. So…PLEASE…maintain your observation of social distancing, regular hand washing/sanitizing, and wearing your masks in public.

Just to remind you, we are offering these limited edition Swingtime Big Band Facemasks, which is a very high quality mask (3 layers of 100% cotton), so it’s very comfortable and breathable, and, of course, featuring the Swingtime logo! Our entire band wore these at our recent Tilles Center performance (see below), and we would be very happy for you to wear one, as well, to show your support for Swingtime and for bringing back live music ASAP!

We are asking for $10 per mask with an added $2 for shipping & handing (for up to three masks per package; or for four or more masks, it would be an added $4/package). If you are interested, please send me an email, and I will send you instructions on options for payment, and then we can get your masks in the mail for you right away. Plus, if you want to get a jump on your Holiday shopping for the big band lovers in your life, we can also mail you our matching black Swingtime logo T-shirts (M, L, XL, 2X or 3X) and/or our CDs, so please contact me (either by email or call 516-876-8324), and I can provide more details.

We remain hopeful that we can announce soon when our next live shows will be, but for the moment, please check out our new website, and as you will note on our ‘Upcoming Performances’ page, we feature a quote from the WW II classic:
